Altene TP 1822 tape is a 3 ply tape which has adhesive on both sides of a polyethylene carrier, providing a tenacious bond to the primed steel pipe, itself at the overlap and to the outerwrap.

Structure:
Siliconed release liner +internal rubber adhesive+Polyolefine+External rubber adhesive.

Properties and use:
High anti-corrosion protection,excellent shear resistance,high UV resistance .Suitable for the transportation of all fluids and in particular for new pipelines also pipe welding ,fittings as joint wraps.

Popular thickness:30mils 32mils,35mils,40mils.
